Limitations of Youth

September 4, 2011 § Leave a comment

My school taught me that I can do anything – but now I know that I’m young and it’s ok to not be able to do things. With age you learn about the world. I know now that I know next to nothing about it, and that’s ok. I’m not expected to know everything at my age. It’s actually better to be humble. What youth is good for is energy, optimism, enthusiasm, and a different way of doing things because we don’t know what’s there already. If you already know what’s there, you accept it and it is harder to find a different way.
